Aarti
He maat meri, He maat meri, kaisi yeh der lagai he durge ||
he maat...
Bhavsaagar mein gira pada hoon, kaam aadi grah mein ghira pada hoon,
moh aadi jaal mein jakda pada hoon || he maat...
Na mujhmein bal hai na mujhmein vidya, Na mujhmein bhakti, Na mujhmein Shakti,
Sharan tumhari gira pada hoon || he maat...
Na koi mera kutumb saathi, na hi mera sharir saathi,
Aap hi ubaaro pakad ke baahin || he maat...
Charan kamal ko nauka banakar, main paar hoonga khooshi manakar,
Yamdooton ko maar bhagakar || he maat...
Sada hi tere gunon ko gaaoon, sada hi tere swaroop ko dhyaaoon,
Nit prati tere gunon ko gaaoon || he maat...
Na main kisika, na koi mera, chhaya hai chaaron taraf andhera,
Pakad ke jyoti dikha do rasta || he maat...
Sharan pade hain ham tumhari, karo yah naiya paar hamari,
Kaisi yeh deri lagai hai durge || he maat...

Maa Shakti
Whenever righteousness and virtue has been under pressure of demoniac forces, the cosmic mother has overpowered such forces by taking different 'Rupas' (Different supernatural forms or shapes) and saved her devotees. In the beginning of the universe, Maha-Shakti was created out of all supernatural forces (Tejas) of gods united into one. The same later took birth as Maha-Kali, Maha-Laxmi and Maha-Saraswati. All the three 'Rupas' or 'Avatar' represent the human characteristics viz., Raj, Tam and Satva-gun.
Shri Vaishno Devi (Vaishnavi), in the form of a five and a half feet tall rock with three heads or the 'Pindies' on the top is the ultimate destination of a devotee. These Pindies constitute the Sanctum Sanctorum of the holy cave known as the shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji.
